Our biggest Marie Claire issue as seen through my Google Glass ‪#‎BeNina‬

Marie Claire Creative Director extraordinaire and Project Runway judge shows you exactly what it’s like to #BeNina. “I love when technology and fashion meet up,” says the ever stylish Nina Garcia. Styled with a pair of Google Glasses, she sets out to bring you behind the scenes of Project Runway, the celebrities and models she meets up with, and of course, front row at Fashion Week. “I am fascinated on how technology allows us to see fashion through a different lens. You cannot get closer to fashion than this fashion week. You will be seated first row with me!” Follow hashtag #benina all season long for more Tim Gunn, possibly some celebrity cleavage, and definitely a lot of front-row fashion.

…and here’s a little something to kick #benina off. Behind the scenes at Project Runway.

Macy, traces the 125-year history of the Hearst media empire, from William Randolph Hearst’s pioneering and controversial days of headline-grabbing newspapers and yellow journalism, to the global impact of the company’s many successful newspaper, magazine, television and digital brands that have shaped our culture.

CBS - “HARRY WINSTON, JEWELER TO THE STARS”
Nina Garcia, creative director of Marie Claire magazine, and a judge on the hit reality show “Project Runway,” calls Harry Winston “the jeweler of jewels.” “Really, it’s another world. To enter into the Harry Winston world is to be in a dream,” she told Altschul. “It’s the stuff of legends.” And so for every Oscar night, Harry Winston loans out some of its finest pieces to nominees, presenters and Hollywood legends. Spokeswoman Meredith Keller and her team help celebrities pick out that perfect item, like a bracelet with 400 diamonds, similar to one worn by Halle Berry to the Golden Globes. According to Keller, it’s worth “a little over half a million dollars.” Big-ticket items like the bracelet and the $9.5 million diamond and tourmaline necklace come with their own security detail.
